    Memoirs of a Mustang: Grade 14 - Page 4 Empty It's a thing now.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Tue 12 Nov 2013, 10:02 am

Entry 057: Out with a Long, Overdrawn Whimper
7:30- Breakfast this morning was Honey-Nut Cheerios and orange juice.
    8:30-Calculus.
    9:30-Thermodynamics.
    10:30-Processes.
    11:30-FunBEE.

12:30-Lunch was a cheeseburger, Ritz, some carrot and chocolate milk.

    1:30-Communications,
2:30-Organic lab 5. This was awful, simply awful. To start, they made us wait for an hour while we did literally. NOTHING. What the hell. What the fucking hell WHY?! On top of that, my group's particular experiment was going all wrong. Virtually no product, took forever to get results. I am so glad the lab portion of the course is over.

    And look! SNOOOOOOW SNOWSNOWSNOWSNOWSNOW!

Entry 058: Snow Gotta be Kidding Me
7:30-Breakfast this morning was Honey-Nut Cheerios and orange juice.
    8:30-Organic was painful as usual.
    10:30-Processes was shortened as usual.
12:00-Lunch was Subway on campus, on account of a horrific food shortage at the Turner-Salari residence.

1:30-Thermodynamics was cancelled today, because hahahaha like a give a fuck. Although the same announcement talked of a nuclear power plant field trip next week. what's that all about?
2:30-FunBEE lab. This is fun. Still cramped as all hell.

6:00-Let's go grocery shopping. There was a Student Sale on at Metro, so I went and bought a lot of stuff. Hopefully most of it lasts me the month, because it totalled at $81.05.
8:00-Dinner was pasta night with chocolate milk.

There's still plenty of snow. It was falling like crazy all day today.

    From Wednesday:

    Entry 059: Regular food
7:30-Breakfast this morning was CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLES and orange juice.
    8:30-Calculus.
    9:30-Processes tutorial.
11:30-Lunch was a peanut butter sandwich, cheddar cheese, Ritz, an apple and chocolate milk.

    12:30-Communications.

Dinner was pasta night with chocolate milk.
It's so nice to have a stockpile of food again. It would be even nicer if it lasted me the month, because last shopping trip was expensive.

Memoirs of a Mustang: Grade 14 - Page 4 Empty FUCK YOU IT RHYMES!

Post by Cephalo the Pod Fri 15 Nov 2013, 1:16 pm

    From Thursday:

Entry 060: The Geese of Unease
7:30-Breakfast this morning was CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLES and orange juice.
    8:30-Thermodynamics tutorial.
    10:30-FunBEE.
12:30-Lunch was a peanut butter sandwich, cheddar cheese, Ritz, an apple and chocolate milk. I took the bus to get back home because
1:45-Had to go right back to the campus for a Thermodynamics tour. We got a glimpse of Western's power plant. And by "power plant" they mean "the place where we heat and cool water and send it all around campus". It's not, like, a nuclear power plant. That would be insane. We got to go through some underground tunnels. They were hot and humid. Entry 002 comes to mind.

5:00-Dinner was pasta night with chocolate milk.
6:00-CWC meeting. We were having trouble finding stuff to talk about. We already gave each other MiNoWriMo advice last week, nothing else was coming up. So we did a writing prompt. It was about an elevator getting stuck. This was mine:
I wrote:You know that feeling you get when your three kids are each in the hospital for different reasons, your wife is pregnant when you're both 50 years old, and you've just been laid off from your job of 20 years? And then the elevator stops working?

It's a lot like getting all of your limbs broken, and then someone throwing shit in your face. Technically, it doesn't make your situation worse, but you don't really care at that point.
    Good times.

7:30-Eeeeeeehhhhhh geeeeeeeese. They're converging on the sidewalk leading down UC hill. It makes me uncomfortable.

Went down on Sunday to the railroad tracks on Adelaide St. to get some pictures for a projectgrocery shopping on Sunday. Then I went grocery shopping.

    Entries 065+066: Big Projects
Breakfasts were been CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLES with orange juice and NESQUIK CEREAL.
Lunches were peanut butter sandwiches with cheddar cheese, Ritz, apples and milk.
Dinners were pasta night and a chicken burger with bow-tie pasta and milk.

No FunBEE lab this week. That was nice. Communications tutorial was cancelled, because the professor had a sick kid.

Not much to say. Been busy with a Communications project. Hate writing stuff so much.

    Entry 067: FunBEE Quiz #2
7:30-Breakfast was CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLES and orange juice.
    8:30-Thermodynamics tutorial.
10:30-FunBEE lecture, and we had another quiz. Except they're not actually worth anything and they're just meant to help us prepare for the assignments and exams that do matter. Whatever. I suppose it helps.
1:00-Lunch, peanut-butter sandwich, cheddar cheese, Ritz, an apple and milk.

Dinner was a chicken burger with bow-tie pasta, a real big carrot, and milk.

    Memoirs of a Mustang: Grade 14 - Page 4 Empty Woah 2.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Mon 25 Nov 2013, 1:15 am

    From Friday.

    Entry 068: No Way
7:30-Breakfast was NESQUIK CEREAL and orange juice.
    8:30-Calculus.
    9:30-Thermodynamics.
10:30-Calculus test. It was on Laplace transformations. These things are easily the most bizarre concept I've ever learned in a math class. Maybe tied with Eigenvectors.

11:30-Lunch, peanut-butter sandwich, cheddar cheese, Ritz, an apple and orange juice.
    12:30-Organic.
1:30-Guess who I saw today. PRIYANKA!! She's a classmate back from late elementary school. She went to St. Mike's, didn't see her virtually at all during my years in high school. Now all of a sudden she's going to the same university as me (for Science, btw). This is so cool.

And then I went to Waterford for the weekend.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Tue 26 Nov 2013, 5:39 pm

    From yesterday.

Entry 069: I Come Back, and Someone's Left Snow All Over the Place
7:30-Breakfast was NESQUIK CEREAL and orange juice.
    8:30-Calculus.
    9:30-Thermodynamics.
    10:30-Processes.
11:30-FunBEE. The professor got us into groups and wanted us to...I don't even know. We looked up some stuff and then...wrote on a blackboard? I thought representatives were going to present, but we ended up just writing terms on the blackboard.

11:30-Lunch, peanut-butter sandwich, cheddar cheese, Ritz, an apple and orange juice.
12:30-Communications. We discussed e-mails and memos.

There is so much snow here. The Weather Report looks like it'll be going away soon.

    Entry 070: Bad Professors
7:30-Breakfast was CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLES and orange juice.
    8:30-Organic.
    10:30-Processes.
11:30-Lunch, peanut-butter sandwich, cheddar cheese, Ritz, an apple and orange juice.

1:30-Thermodynamics. This professor isn't exactly the popular one in Chemical Engineering. While not my least favourite, he has a reputation for monotone, hard-to-follow lectures. He consistently brings this up. We assured him today that, no, this isn't the only class where everyone is completely silent.
2:30-FunBEE lab. Apparently some people hate Schmidt, the Communications professor. A lab partner told me that some other students feel this way. I'm astounded. He didn't have a reason for why they hated him.

Dinner was home-chili and chocolate milk.

7:30-Breakfast was NESQUIK CEREAL and orange juice.
8:30-Calculus. And Processes tutorial was cancelled.
11:00-Lunch, peanut-butter sandwich, cheddar cheese, Ritz, an apple and orange juice.

12:30-Communications tutorial. I was totally ready to present with my group today. And then neither of my teammates show up for class. One came in after about 20 minutes, but the other didn't show up at all. So we have to go next week. I got dressed nice too.

6:00-Scott Baker stopped by to discuss writing with the CWC. That was prety cool. And there was a hella lot of refreshments.

Dinner was home-chili and chocolate milk. Still snowing here.
