That doesn't mean I'M contagious!
Entry 005: Buckling down, kinda
7:10-Yeah, I have a cold. Breakfast is two chocolate chip muffins and orange juice.
8:30-APPLMATH1411A (which covers linear algebra for engineering and which I will refer to from here on out as Apple Math) was educational...I guess. The professor has a real heavy accent. But it all looked interesting, stuff about linear systems with three variables and whatnot.
9:30-APPLMATH1413, calculus for engineers. Review of trigonometry from back before high school calculus.
10:30-CHEM1024A, chemistry for engineers. Meh (although this guy's accent isn't nearly as heavy).
12:00-Lunch, a bowl of rice topped with stir fry and saucy, nuggety chicken.
1:30-ENG1050, engineering innovation and design studio. Boring, just people talking about teamwork (although they made it about as exciting as one could, given the topic). Usually I have a tutorial after, but, y'know, start of school (I wonder if it'll be like this next term with the other half courses).
3:00-Chilling at home.
4:30-ECONOMIC1022A, macroeconomics. Intro. Whatever.
6:00-Dinner, beans and sausage in a tomato sauce, along with fresh market vegetables on the side. I usually have a physics lab right now.
And the rest of the night is me chilling. I need a better word for chilling. Surfing. Yeah, let's go with that. Surfing my mind.

Hey, bada-boom bada-bing!
Entry 006: Mom visits
7:10-Stuffy nose now. Everything's good. Breakfast was an oatmeal-fruit bake. And it was awesome. Also orange juice.
8:30-Physics. Basic review of kinematics.
9:30-Engineering statics. Mostly about force and weight.
10:30-No Apple Math tutorials until next week. Surfed at home.
12:00-Lunch. Sausage topped with onions, green peppers and cheese sauce; two garlic bread sticks; an apple; chocolate milk. My mom was taking me out for dinner tonight so I got a little bit more than usual.
1:30-Went to Spencer Engineering to confirm that there was no calculus tutorial. I was sure that there wasn't; this was mostly just an excuse to go for a run and listen to music.
2:00-Surfed.
3:30-My mom took me and my sister out for dinner. But before that, she brought up snacks and my NEW GLASSES YYYYES!!! I love the look, the vision, the colour scheme they ROCK! I oughta upload a photo. Anyway, we went to East Side Mario's. I had a small pizza and ceasar salad, with root beer. The lollipops at the end were delicious.
7:00-Introduction to ECONOMIC1021A, microeconomics. It. Was. Amazing. The professor is so much fun. It was two hours (the time slot for the lecture is actually 7-10 every week), so we learned a bit too.
My mom got me medicine, which I have taken. I need to get more textbooks soon (I have deduced for a few that I have no option but to get them new). Good night everyone.

Entry 007: Blood Donation oh wait
7:10-Only a cough now. Breakfast was three sausage patties and two hash browns, and orange juice.
8:30-Applemath is getting better. I feel more in tune with the professor.
9:30-Calculus is still trig review, but I had practice problems to keep me occupied.
10:30-Chemistry is still boring.
11:30-Time for my blood donation. I have a cold, but I went anyway just to make sure I couldn't donate. I went to Alumni House--I had it written on a note from a long time ago--which is on the far south-east end of campus. And I'm at Saugeen-Maitland, in the north-west. Woot. And it gets better; turns out it's at Alumni Hall, which is back in the western half of campus. Anyway, I rescheduled due to my cold. September 20 at Huron University College.
12:30-Lunch was a hot dog with fresh market vegetables, and chocolate milk.
1:30-Design had an okay lecture. The notes kept me occupied.
2:30-Surfing.
4:30-Macroeconomics. I couldn't keep up with the powerpoint, and I eventually gave up on the note-taking. Still a great lesson.
7:00-Dinner was fajita with chicken, cheese, onions and tomatoes. And chocolate milk, and an apple.
7:30-Surfing.
9:30-Went to UCC to replace my headphones (one speaker's broken). Store was closed. Saw that coming.
10:15-Floor meeting, and I gotta tell ya, I like it when my floor gets together. I like these people. And I was elected floor rep!

Entry 008: Getting down to business. Except it's engineering
7:10-Breakfast, two chocolate-chip muffins and orange juice.
8:30-Physics was GREAT! You guys know all those seven original equations we had for kinematics? The ones involving speed, acceleration and such? We figured out two of them in one class with calculus. It was so cool.
9:30-Statics was the usual, just working with forces in different directions. It ended early due to the professor having, something. I spent the free time getting new headphones for my iPod.
10:30-First tutorial for design. Just a bunch of start-up stuff, being told our groups, etc.
12:30-Engineering book sale. I was originally going to get new books, but these old editions were just so cheap! And the student sellers convinced me they would be sufficient.
2:00-Lunch, grilled cheese with fries, apple and chocolate milk.
3:30-Chemistry. Pretty slow, although he did get into quantum chemistry rather suddenly, which is cool.
5:00-Surfing.
6:50-Dinner, stir fry bar. All my meat and vegetables was put on rice and covered in sweet 'n' sour sauce. Pretty good.
8:00-Went for fencing (missed the first meeting Tuesday due to microeconomics), except I talked to a girl nearby and I eventually found out those meetings are just for varsity. I'd like to just go for intramurals, and that doesn't start for a while.
8:45-Laundry.
Oh, and I first found these a few days ago but never got to talking about them; MY DREAMS HAVE COME TO LIFE. Okay, so sometime in elementary school I had this fantasy of a super-long bus that could contain lots of kids and bent so that it could turn corners. That exists here. Kinda. There's this bus, it's long, and it has an accordion-ish segment in the middle that stretches and pulls the two parts of the bus together. I freaked out.
Stay tuned, for Chemistry lab! Orientation.
P.S. I don't really have "bios" of anyone yet. Although Aaron is in chemical engineering, like me.

Beats Coors Light.
Entry 009: It's party time, party time
7:10-Breakfast, a sausage breakfast sandwich, tater tots and orange juice.
8:30-Applemath continued on Gaussian elimination. Oh, and this morning was pretty much nothing but rain. What a pain.
9:30-Calculus finished up on trigonometry and introduced us to complex numbers woo! Didn't cover much on this new topic, but whatever.
10:30-Chemistry lab orientation, which took about half of the time that my schedule says (yay). Just learning about the laboratory.
12:00-Lunch, nachos and green beans. With chocolate milk.
1:30-Design, another boring lecture. But the rain did let up by the time the class was over.
3:00-Surfing.
5:00-Dinner, garlic bread, an apple and chocolate milk. Then one of my floormates gave me half of her grilled cheese because she didn't want it. Awesome.
Rest of the night-party on my floor. At first I didn't want to go, since it was ABC, but apparently that had been cancelled. It was--a party. People standing clustered in a room drinking and dancing to popular music (happening in multiple rooms). Nothing exciting. Oh, wait, I did have shot of Captain Morrigan's at about 7:30. Everyone went crazy over it.
That's my first university school week. I, don't have anything planned for the weekend.

Entry 010: The incredibly lazy day
9:30-Surfing.
10:30-Breakfast, bacon and tater tots. With orange juice in a glass that costs less than the unnecessarily larger bottle. Sweet. Then Surfing.
12:00-Lunch, a meat stombroli (rolled-up pizza) with an apple and chocolate milk.
1:00-Was gonna get to studying physics (not that I really needed to; it's really basic review so far), but then I fell asleep on my bed (only got about 6 hours of sleep last night).
3:30-Looked at my physics book. I wanted to do the questions suggested by the professor, but one set didn't...exist, and the other were questions completely unrelated to what we've learned so far. Wat. So surfing.
6:00-Dinner, a big slice of pizza with an apple and chocolate milk.
Rest of the night-Surfing, along with checking out the little party happening in a room on my floor. Nothing special, just crowded people singing and dancing to the music they like. Alex, pretty cool guy on my floor, offered me some of his Polar Ice vodka (he doesn't drink). I had two shots. Felt perfectly fine. What the hell.
Terry Fox Run tomorrow, as well as some actual schoolwork.

No drinking tonight, just Shortpacked.
Entry 011: Terry Faux
10:30-Breakfast, 4 sausages, a pancake, and orange juice.
12:00-Lunch, chicken souvlaki with rice, carrots and corn, and chocolate milk.
2:00-I went to join the crowd in the Terry Fox Walk, but apparently you need to sign up for that. I didn't think I had to. So much for that.
3:00-My dad and Natacha visited. We went to Kelsey's for appetizer nachos.
6:00-Dinner, a big slice of pizza, an apple, and chocolate milk.
Rest of the night-Surfing.
Been here two weeks now. And Clubs Week starts tomorrow. Woot woot.

Galasso demands a better post title!
Entry 012: SHIT!
8:20-No, that's not a typo. I woke up 10 minutes before class. WOOO! I got woken up by my alarm and slept for another hour. Great, now I have three hour-long lectures to go to without having had breakfast or a shower.
8:30-Applemath was more of the same.
9:30-Calculus is cool. We're knee-deep in complex numbers. I don't quite understand it all, but I suppose that's a good sign.
10:30-Chemistry had more on quantum numbers. The stuff we did back in Grade 12. Ggh.
11:30-Woo shower! And lunch, a shaved-roast-beef-on-a-bun, french fries, two spring rolls, orange juice and chocolate milk. Afterwards I shopped for an access code I need for the online portion of my statics class (by the way, I can't even get on that because I can't figure out another piece of information, the course ID. And I have an assignment due tomorrow. Maybe I can get it done in the afternoon?
1:30-Design lecture. Same old.
2:30-Statics tutorial. Back before I got here, I was told that tutorials were just bonus help. When I got here, I found out that's when tests happen. This was my first tutorial ever, and the only one that seems to be what I was told it would be like in the first place. So I left a half-hour in to the two-hour time slot.
4:30-Macroeconomics, which is good learning.
6:00-Physics lab/tutorial (this week it was a lab). Just about motion in a straight line, grade 11 stuff (but we get to use calculus so woot. A quiz at the end, which was like life on easy mode.
8:00-Late dinner, big slice of pepperoni pizza, french fries (super awesome, by the way), an apple and chocolate milFIREALARM WOAHWHAT. None of us even knew what was going on. So that took a bit of time.
9:00-Laundry. Don't know how I'm gonna make it through the whole year; I'm doing this every 5-6 days, and I have 33 points, but I have to use 2 each time (washer + drier). What, am I supposed to hang my wet clothes. Okay, WHERE THE FUCK DO I DO THAT?!
Tomorrow better be fucking awesome. That physics tutorial made me miss fencing.
Ah, who I'm kidding. I read about Kason's September 14. I'm blessed compared to that.
