Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 8 Empty They are legit dubbing Dumbing of Age,

Post by Cephalo the Pod Tue 27 Nov 2012, 12:25 am

Entry 071: Nutty for Nutella. That was terrible.
7:45-Saugeen is having a breakfast club this week. It runs from 8-9, so I thought I would be too early for it. Turns out it was up earlier than 8, so I was able to have two slices of wheat bread with Nutella. I had one of my juice boxes.
    8:30-Applemath. I have a test tomorrow.
    9:30-Calculus, we're deep into integration.
10:30-Chemistry. Lately I've been bringing my laptop to do Mastering_______, but both of those are done for the semester.

12:30-Chicken chiabatta, fench fries, big chocolate milk, cheese bun and one of my apples.
    1:30-Design, mechanical engineering.
    2:30-Surfing.
4:30-Macroeconomics. I was so tired I could hardly pay attention. I actually sat in a chair in the hallway after class to rest. And ended up napping for 20 minutes.
6:00-Physics tutorial. Got 100% on the last test. This test, on rotational motion, was similarly easy.

8:00-Two servings of popcorn chicken, chocolate milk, and some of my carrots.
    10:00-Laundry.

Entry 072: Managing stresses that I know I can manage
7:45-Mini Wheats and one of my orange juices.
    8:30-Physics, torque and angular momentum.
9:30-No statics, the course is over. The professor has left (we're getting a new one next term), and we've already had our midterm, so there's nothing to do.
10:30-Applemath tutorial. Didn't finish the test, but I think it will bring my average up. If ever so slightly.

12:30-Fajita, big chocolate milk, and one of my apples.

6:00-Big slice of pepperoni pizza, chocolate brownie and 750mL of chocolate milk.
    7:00-Microeconomics, labour/capital supply/demand.

I meet with my design team tomorrow.

    Entry 073: The Tape Taker
7:45-WokeupFUCK. The lamp light at Abdelès desk is too bright; I cannot get enough sleep. Luckily, the breakfast club had wheat bread and Nutella that I could gulp down quick.
    8:30-Applemath.
    9:30-Calculus.
    10:30-Chemistry.

11:30-Big pepperoni pizza slice, one of my apples, big chocolate milk, and three chocolate cookies.
1:30-Design, chemical engineering YES! The presenter was pretty quiet, but I am just glad that I got it.
2:30-Team and I met for a bit. Oh, by the way, one of our five members has pretty much left engineering and, consequently, us. I was told that I would not be of much use later (honestly, I am not that productive at these meetings; I just do not have anything to contribute), but I can mkae up for it by writing a larger portion of the final report.
3:30-Ran around a bit, listened to music.
4:30-Macroeconomics, but calculus practice is just so enticing.

7:00-Dinner, cheeseburger with big chocolate milk.
8:30-Abdel wants physics help. Lots of physics help. I tried downloading Microsoft Word so that I could download meeting minutes from a floor rep meeting that I would present to tonightès floor meeting, but it took too long to download (we never got to meeting minutes anyway).
10:15-We had a huge meeting with the other floors of C-Unit. We played a trivia game relating to alcohol use by adolescents. My floor totally dominated. Later, at C-Upper, we tried on beer goggles. I honestly did not find it that hard. Oh, and there was a tape path that we would have walked on with the beer goggles, but when we went down to the big meeting, it was gone! Not all of us bothered to go; someone who stayed must have taken it.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 8 Empty Bagels are so cheap!

Post by Cephalo the Pod Thu 29 Nov 2012, 11:51 pm

Entry 074: The end times begin
I've been losing to much sleep in the past 2.5 weeks, so screw it. I'm skipping physics today. Oh, and statics is done too.
9:45-Bagel with creamcheese, first of the year! And one of my orange juice.
10:30-In design studio, we tested our second design projects. Our group got a 70 in performance. We got off earlier than usual.

12:00-Chicken fingers, two eggrolls, green apple, big chocolate milk and two chocolate cookies.
3:30-Chemistry, electrochemistry. Actually pretty cool. Oh, it's also the last lecture of the term. Even though classes don't end until Wednesday, and I'm scheduled for two more lectures in that time.

6:00-Chicken leg, chocolate milk and some of my carrots.
    7:00-Minecraft.
9:00-Fencing. I played lots, won a few, and two of my floormates who were playing basketball at the time took a break to watch me play. Yay.

    Today turned out good.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 8 Empty Only one shot.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Sat 01 Dec 2012, 1:25 am

Entry 075: The chillest Friday ever
7:50-Creamcheese/strawberry sauce-filled french toast, and one of my orange juice.
    8:30-Applemath.
    9:30-Calculus.

12:30-Big slice of pepperoni pizza, apple, big chocolate milk, french fries and two chocolate cookies.
    1:30-Design, integrated engineering. Short class.
2:30-Not much. Then much, as in Minecraft with you guys.

5:30-Chili, big chocolate milk, two chocolate cookies.
    7:00-Out for a run.
Rest of the night-Surfing, and Minecraft. A floormate of mine had her birthday today. She offered a birthday shot to me. It tasted like cake. It was good. No steam from the gargle this time.

Tomorrow, we have a guest star on the show!

    It's Shal!
...And the girl was attractive, yes.

    Entry 076: Hey, what's up?
9:00-Fire alarm. It actually ended pretty quick, in under 20 minutes.
12:00-Shredded beef on a pretzel bun, french fries, one of my orange juice, big chocolate milk and two chocolate chip muffins.
1:00-Ran/walked to go meet Shal at White Oaks Mall.
3:30-Met Shal for the first time in months. We talked about my time at Western. She didn't get to stay very long.
    5:00-Ran/walked back.
    7:30-Got back to Saugeen-Maitland.
9:00-Spicy chicken nuggets, onion rings and big chocolate milk.
    11:30-Did laundry.

Yep, 10km by foot. I most certainly went to White Oaks; it's where Shal was, it's where my map app led me, and it was south of Western. Masonville is north.

I never bothered to get my bus pass. She was planning on moving towards me as I moved towards her, but she changed her mind. She was with other friends before; they wanted to go to White Oaks.

I set up an interview with Natacha for a design project, and I had my last floor rep meeting of the term.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 8 Empty Holy shit, someone's actually doing a fandub of Dumbing of Age!

Post by Cephalo the Pod Mon 03 Dec 2012, 11:48 pm

    Entry 078: I feel bad
I was up until 3:45 working on projects last night. My alarm was set for 7:15 anyway. I overslept until 8:04, and decided to trade off classes for a good night's (day's) sleep so that I could finish those projects better. I got up at 10:00.

Brunch was orange chicken Bowling Over, curly fries, big chocolate milk, and big orange juice.

I didn't go to any classes until macroeconomics at 4:30, on account of sleeping in and working on design projects. Physics tutorials are done, so dinner at 6:00 was a big slice of pepperoni pizza, big chocolate milk, strawberry yogurt, and chocolate pudding. Along with some of my carrots.

I've finished the interview assignment and just about finished my second design report. So there's only one thing left. Final exams.

My knee was hurting all day today. It was really annoying. But it's feeling a lot better now.

    Entry 079: The Dog Blog
7:50-Fruit bake and big orange juice.
    8:30-Physics, oscillation.
9:30-Got back to Maitland, did not bother to go to my math tutorials today. Too tired.
12:30-Texas fajita sausage, apple and big chocolate milk.
1:30-Picked up my last chemistry lab and quiz.

    2:00-Minecraft.
5:30-Big pizza slice, chocolate milk, some of my carrots and plain cheesecake.
7:00-Therapy dogs. A few dogs came, and people, just, you know, petted them. Hmm. Honestly, I felt a little bad for the 5 dogs there being swarmed by dozens of adolescents. There was this one HUGE dog there. I think it was a, St. BernardÉ
    7:20-Microeconomics, inequality and review.

Tomorrow is my last day of classes.

    4:30-Macroeconomics.

    6:30-Minecraft with you guys.
8:30-Two slices of pepperoni pizza and chocolate milk.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Mon 10 Dec 2012, 2:27 am

So before I get to today, I should talk about my macroeconomics exam on Saturday. First off, it was at 9am. And I woke up at 9:16. Hey, can you spell "shit"? The exam itself went good. I was confident in my answers, and I had 15 minutes to spare even after arriving half an hour late.

My dad picked me up for family Christmas afterwards. I stayed overnight in Woodstock.

    Entry 083: Physics exam
Got back at noon. The exam was at 7pm, and went for three hours. It was a lot like the midterm. It was challenging, but made sense. I answered most of it.

Lunch was chicken souvlaki, french fries, big orange juice, big chocolate milk and an apple. Dinner was klondike chili, an apple, big chocolate milk, and pecan-ish pie. Next exam: Applemath on Wednesday.

Entry 085: And now, the other knee!
So I went for a walk in the evening, and that's when my left knee begins to hurt like my right knee did last week.

Lunch was chicken kabob, apple, big chocolate milk, apple juice amd vanilla yogurt. Dinner was big slice of cheese pizza, big chocolate milk, apple and blue jello.

Speaking of which, there's this one chef. A couple of times now, he's been behind the counter for the customizable dish of the menu. As he has pointed out oh-so-friendlily, I have a habit of adding cheese to whatever of these dishes I can. So when I'm getting my pizza, he looks at me and just goes "Cheeeeeese". GOOOOD GUYYYYYYY.

So I have an Applemath exam tomorrow. Yays.
