Im in the same boat as that guy who's selling his stuff. There's just no good enough reason to keep all of the stuff if hes only going to play about half of them at best. I would be asking for more, but maybe hes just hoping for a bidding war.

Steam is releasing an age of empires 2 hd collection next month. From what it looks like its really the same game with the same graphics just a little more detailed look. But hey it comes with the expansions, and will support new online servers. So this will at least revitalize the community. Well at least i'm guessing it will. Unless they fuck it up some how. or the community is full of a bunch of hipsters who are like "But its new so um guaaay" then they go back to sniffing there ass stank. The freaks.

lol i've looked into the remake a bit, i think to community will ocntinue to use voobly cause: voobly has a built in ladder system + voobly is pretty chill.
also, the only thing i could tell that they changed were the trees and mountains, made them look slightly better. and made everything else a little sharper. thats it. and they made the ui a little bit shittier looking. i wont pay 20 bucks for dat shit lol.

lol rob i just watched a video and the ui looks better not worse.... also i guarantee games run through steam will not lag as much

yeah, like i said, everything looks a lil bit sharper, thats it. the boats got a little bit of an upgrade (but shooting cannonballs now? they're slower than the spear things) they didn't change arrow animation or building destruction.. kinda lame
