Where's The Beats!? Empty Where's The Beats!?

Post by Italyins Mon 28 Jan 2013, 12:36 am

Yeah, yeah its a bad pun but i don't care.
All this is is a music thread.
You don't always have to post songs it could also be for open discussion. So why not some Iron Maiden to kick things off.

the original elf lord elrond i mean David Bowie has a new album coming out, so why not one of his songs too.

It starts off with scratchy vocals but it doesn't stay that way. Give it a shot.

Didn't we study a poem called "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" in grade 12?

Having played Persona 4 Golden over the past 3 weeks, I've been getting immersed into its soundtrack.

This is a random enemy battle theme, plays when you strike the enemy in the overworld from behind.

This is the regular boss theme.

And these are the numerous final boss themes.

wow this site is awesome, rapgenius.com
type in a rap song, it breaks down every single line into its intended or implied meanings.

I know for a fact a lot of people hate or disrespect rap because they honestly can't understand what they're saying/don't have the patients (or sometimes, intelligence) to piece together the meaning. This site is great for that. Type in 'devil in a new dress', and read up on dat shit, that albums too good.

Wait a second "Take on me" had a sequel. that's right a sequel. It's not the first song to have one, but it is one of the few sequel songs that is actually good (its mainly sequel through video). Best watched after the first song.

Now for some songs with a little more PUNCH! to them. Both sound the best at ear bleeding levels of loud.

Holy Wars (original, with Nick Menza on drums)

and just so i don't alienate all people from this post while still keeping the POWAH hears Anthrax & Public Enemy with Bring the noise, A rap metal mix, and my favorite of the rap rock/metal genera merges.

Steve Vai: for the love of god.
    DAT SOLO!
    2:15- 3:00

but please excuse the pretentious video, and i mean that this is the best version of the song, and the video is badly made and make Steve look like an even bigger douche than he already was at the time.
