Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty I'm a bad Dominic Deegan Snarker.

Entry 163: Feels like a day off
Statics is done for the year, so I didn't have any lectures today. I slept in until 9:30.
2:00-Small bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, pepperoni pizza, apple and big orange juice.

5:00-PB&J, two slices of marble cheese, an apple, chocolate milk and deep-fried cheesecake drizzled with chocolate, vanilla and caramel sauce.
6:00-Physics tutorial, and the last one of the year to boot.

My classes end April 10, but I have exams from 17 to 28. Sheesh.

    Today I spent $10.29. I have $86.72 remaining.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty Two muffins are the same price as a piece of pizza.

Entry 164: Finishing touches, part 2
9:10-No physics2 or materials, so I decided to skip calculus and programming too.
10:30-Two blueberry muffins and big orange juice.

12:00-Sweet'n'sour pork bowl and chocolate milk.
1:30-The Team did research for tomorrow's showcase. Getting kinda hyped. We finished at around 4:10.

5:30-I got a picture with a guy wearing a giant foam flower. There was a booth about Alzheimer's awareness. Then pepperoni pizza, chocolate milk, an apple, strawberry yogurt, three slices of cheddar cheese and cup'a'cheesecake.
    7:00-Jogged a bit with a coca-cola.

Wakin' up early tomorrow. A little.

    I spent $11.39 today. I have $75.33 remaining.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty The garlic bread was delicious. Also, never eat a whole slice of raw onion.

Entry 165: The Bracelert, part 2
7:30-Warm cinnamon bun and big orange juice.
8:00-Design showcase. We stood around in a cramped aisle for 3 hours waiting for the judges to stop by so that we could give our 15 minute presentation. Then we stood around for 2 more hours for the public to come in. On the bright side, free pizza lunch.

2:00-I bought some extra food at the cafeteria. Apple, strawberry yogurt, chocolate milk, three slices of cheddar cheese, chocolate pudding and fudge brownie.
    3:10-One-hour nap.
6:00-Floor group photo. Jaitra was very persistent on it, even though we kept distracting ourselves.
7:00-Group dinner at Jack Astor's. My floormates asked me some arithmetic questions, mainly division.

9:00-Fencing tournament. I went into the sabre bracket, but I didn't make it past pools (it was single elimination, by the way). But it was still a lot of fun, namely because we used authentic electronics to help with refereeing. Matches were a lot quicker-paced than normal.

And now ends the first day of the last week of classes.

Entry 166: Last week of classes
8:50-Two blueberry muffins and big orange juice.
    9:30-Morning classes.

12:45-Chicken wings, fries, an apple, vanilla yogurt, chocolate milk and red velvet cake.

5:30-Napped for an hour and a half.
8:00-Two slices of pepperoni pizza, chocolate milk, an apple, vanilla yogurt and a butter tart.
8:30-Jogged for an hour and a half.

I've pretty much got the weekend to myself.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty A goose never forgets. But it does die. Time is a ruthless killer.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Sun 07 Apr 2013, 1:12 am

    Entry 167: I pissed off a goose
    9:30-Woke up.
11:25-Beef on bun, bagel, apple, strawberry yogurt, chocolate milk, big orange juice, white cheddar popcorn and chocolate cheesecake.
12:30-I attended (most of) epee fencing.
2:30-So I'm taking a little afternoon jog when, nearby the Western Science Centre, I see a goose. I have my music playing so I get pretty close to before I take notice. It's hissing at me. At first this simply amuses me, because a bird hissing is a hilarious concept to me. I walk on the sidewalk, passing the goose, when it starts walking towards me. Okay, fair enough, I got pretty close. So I start to run away. It continues to chase me. It's not long before I see out of the corner of my eye that it's flying towards me, claws pointed outward. This fucker means business. I'm speeding out of there, terrified. I'm one "block" away before I there look back to see it's returned to it's post. Lesson learned; don't fuck with geese.

7:00-Hero sandwich, pineapple slices, chocolate milk, Cool Ranch Doritos, butter tart and fudge brownie.
7:30-Took another jog. The goose is still there.

There's a Sanity Not Included joke somewhere in all of this.

I have $38.45 remaining on my meal plan.

LOL those animals are fucking retards. I was going into the health sci building the other day and there was some girl pinned up against the wall outside so I was like "wtf" then I like and theres a goose ravaging her body, jumping at her and screaming like a freak of nature (like they are) and she's just trying desperately to get by because she's terrified to all hell.

You have the best breakfasts btw, I've had enough of this making my own food shit.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty I KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Mon 08 Apr 2013, 2:17 am

Entry 168: It's all fading away.
    9:00-Woke up.
1:15-Chicken fingers, three egg rolls, strawberry yogurt, an apple, chocolate milk, big orange juice, butter tart and fudge brownie.
2:00-Jogged. There is now a sign that says "WILD GEESE/KEEP WALKING". and there's two geese.

7:00-Turkey fridgewich, bar salad, white cheddar popcorn, vanilla yogurt chocolate milk and chocolate cheesecake.
9:00-The floor rep meeting this week was the last, and it was hardly a meeting; mostly just a dinner of Mandarin. I didn't have much 'cause I already had dinner. So I open my fortune cookie, and this is what it says:
The Chinese wrote:Explore your own world by working together with your friends.
    ...
EVEN THE CHINESE WANT YOU TO WORK ON NEO WITH ME!!!

But yeah, things are really coming to an end.

    Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty $1680 lasted 172 days.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Tue 09 Apr 2013, 3:49 am

    Entry 169: Missed
    8:40-Shit, I slept in.
9:00-Blueberry muffins, big orange juice and what I will naively refer to as a pastry log.
10:30-I went to what morning classes I could.

Today I finished off my meal plan. I planned a few days ago on putting on another $200 at around this time in order to last the month, so I've been splurging lately. It's been wonderful. So much cheesecake.

I meant to go to fencing today. It's Erik's last lesson. But I took a nap at 5:40 and woke up at 8:10. I stopped by just to bid farewell; next year he's going to Toronto to continue his law degree.

Tonight I did laundry. That card's running low too.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty I haven't touched her in months.

    Entry 170: I'm wet
Another class-less Tuesday. I slept in until 11:45. Brunch was pasta & meatballs, big orange juice, strawberry yogurt, an apple, chocolate milk and three garlic breadsticks. Dinner was a salami fridge sandwich, chocolate milk and onion rings. I spent $10.05 today of my new $200. I have $189.95.

I went to the Physics&Astronomy building tonight just to make sure that the tutorial was indeed not happening. It was raining. I didn't bring an umbrella down with me, and it didn't look so bad, so I carried on. Then it got bad. I was, so wet by the time I got to P&A. The tutorial wasn't happening.

I don't know what I have against umbrellas. I love umbrellas.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty Ellipses go with everything.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Thu 11 Apr 2013, 2:48 am

Entry 171: Last day of classes
8:30-I woke up far too late for physics. Breakfast was a bagel and big orange juice.
9:30-Morning classes, except programming was done Monday.

12:00-Hot dog, chocolate milk, apple, strawberry yogurt, two slices of cheddar cheese and chocolate pudding.
1:30-Design self-reflection exam. It was short; it fit into a regular lecture-sized time slot.
2:30-Writing in my design notebook and handing it in.

4:30-The most uneatable fajita ever (, chocolate milk and pudding also). The thing just had too much.
    7:00-Programming lab.

1:00-I look into the bathroom to see all my guy floormates gathered around as one's hair is being cut. Apparently a bunch of them are taking part in a grand hair-cutting shbang. I decided to get mine cut nice and short too. Good time.

    Classes are over. Completely over.

    Entry 172: Exam period
Woke up at 10:00. Brunch was grilled cheese, flauta, chocolate milk, big orange juice, an apple, strawberry yogurt and chocolate pudding. After that, I jogged for a bit.

I Skyped my dad. He's in Puerto Rico until Sunday, and will spend the next few days moving all of his stuff to his new home.

Dinner was a salami fridge sandwich, chocolate milk, apple, vanilla pudding and a bag of chocolate almonds.

Tonight was the last fencing meeting of the year, but we're having a potluck tomorrow. Yesses.

    I love exam period.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty BLAAAGGH!! Poetry.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Sat 13 Apr 2013, 2:54 am

Entry 173: Flu right over me
10:00-Woke up. I feel slightly nauseous.
    12:00-My sister got engaged!
2:00-Three beef tacos, an apple, chocolate milk, big orange juice, strawberry yogurt and a slice of chocolate cheesecake.
3:00-Yay, the fencing potluck is in three hours! I'm so excited!! This is gonna be so much BLAAAHGGH. I threw up. I fear I'm getting sick. Oh well, nothing too bad right now.
6:00-So it appears that I have the flu, upon observation from my fencemates. I knew this wasn't any ordinary sickness. I've felt this before (remember, Vyzor, that one night where Delfa and I went to your house? We ate jujubes).

7:00-Everyone requests that I go back to rez for my own sake. Julia hands me coins for the bus.
7:30-This was so cool. I've never been on a citybus before. I accidentally took the wrong one, and an old lady passenger told me so She had been listening to Julia instruct me on what bus to take when we were at the stop. So she knew what I needed to do. So cool.

I laid around in my bed for the next few hours, then I got up for a few more to tire myself out. I have a feeling I'm gonna have trouble sleeping tonight.

7:00-(Half a) Fridge salami sandwich, an apple, chocolate milk and two jello cups.

Memoirs of a Mustang - Page 13 Empty Well.

Post by Cephalo the Pod Tue 16 Apr 2013, 1:57 am

Entry 176: What the fucking hell, man
Woke up at 10. Brunch was shredded beef on a bun, french fried, big orange juice, an apple, strawberry yogurt, chocolate milk, Zesty Ceddar Doritos and a bag of assorted candy.

Mom called me today. Her mom just died from her cancer. The visitation is on Thursday, and the funeral is on Friday. Mom considered having me miss out on Wednesday's exam to come home, but Christy talked her out of it.

Then Dad picked me up to go out for dinner. The plan was for me to stay in Woodstock overnight, but he decided to leave me here due to the recent news. During our dinner at Harvey's, I got a phone call. From Norampac. Saying they were offering me an interview on April 23. I could be getting a job.

Did some calculus tonight (and some laundry). Gonna do a lot more tomorrow.
