Re: Le Cinéma
Last weekend, I saw Safe, starring Jason Statham, with my mom and Ron. Statham is an ex-fighter down on his luck (like, really down on his luck) who happens upon a chinese girl who appears to be in trouble. Together they must run from the Chinese gangs, dirty cops, and the Russian mafia. Definitely reccomended.
I also saw Paranormal Activity 2 Monday night with a few floormates. Only about half. I was busy with laundry during the first half.
Also...PAIV.

Did you know that the Indiana Jones theme sounds remarkably similar to the Superman theme.
I don't recognize it, but a top comment spoiled the answer for me.Sauxuas wrote:holy fuck!!! Guys, listen to this:

remind you of anything?
I never saw the first four superman movies.

Brain blast!
Oh, your comment brought up a memory! I heard (maybe from Italyins?) that the makers of the new Superman movie owned Lord of the Rings, so they used LotR music. Just 'cause.Sauxuas wrote:lol no its for the new one coming out.. apparently they need to rip off lotr music?!

Re: Le Cinéma
Yeah I read about that earlier.
Lol.
Wonder if the same team will still develop lucas arts games, that's honestly the only thing I'm concerned about.

What do you even say to this?
You know what'd be so much fun?
Okay, so I'd go into a career for movie directing. And all of my movies would be down-to-earth, real-life movies. Romantic comedies, dramas, etc. They'd be nothing special, pretty ordinary, a little cliche.
For instance, in my first movie, there is a scene 40 minutes in where a young man is in a coffee shop having an argument with his girlfriend over the phone. He hangs up. frustrated, and walks out. His friends have a short chat with him outside, and the scene looks like it's about to end with a moody close-up on our protagonist.
When, around the corner behind him, a bodybuilder hovers over the road, flying by flailing his arms and banging two sheep together. He is naked, except for balloons covering his junk. Nobody looks, nobody says anything. He just hovers on by for 30 seconds at most. And then we cut to the next scene.

Re: Le Cinéma
ROFL man that would be FUCKING hilarious. as soon as the studio notices (which I'm sure they would before releasing it) they would fire you hahaha. but if they noticed without releasing, that would be awesome.

Do you think they would just straight-up not release it for half a minute of insanity? I mean, everything else would be completely, absolutely normal.Kason Birdman wrote:ROFL man that would be FUCKING hilarious. as soon as the studio notices (which I'm sure they would before releasing it) they would fire you hahaha. but if they noticed without releasing, that would be awesome.
