I think I say "for sure" a lot when I'm uncomfortable
Also I say "yknow" a lot, just all the time, yknow?

You certainly do frequent the 'yknow'. I also have gotos when I'm uncomfortable in a situation. Or similarly when I write off the situation.

I honestly can't really think of any words I personally really over-use. Although I'm sure if someone brings an example up the memories will bubble up in a snap.
What I HAVE noticed over the years is how damn little I actually talk. Whole days can go buy without me really talking to anyone.

The idea of not talking to a single human being for an entire day is kind of freaky. Especially if they are always around you.
I'm not sure if i've ever gone a day where I haven't talked to someone at least once. ehh....maybe I have. But I can't think of any time it's happened.

Re: Word Abusers of Tsempir
Yeah that's got me wondering, actually.
I can't imagine any time that's happened to me... Maybe when I've been super busy with a project and am just in my room the whole day.
But at the same time, I don't think I would ever do that. I mean, a day is a /long/ time. One room is /very few/ rooms.

Re: Word Abusers of Tsempir
I find that on days when I read Great Expectations my vocabulary improves drastically, as well as my eagerness to express and communicate.
And so I can't help but think that reading (and perhaps, more importantly, challenging your reading capabilities), is crucial to improving written and spoken word.

Re: Word Abusers of Tsempir
Definitely. Reading is very crucial to opening up your vocabulary. I tend to learn new words when reading a book so I always keep a dictionary in my bed side stand just in case I come across I word that I do not know the definition of. Dictionaries are very useful and I believe everyone should keep one close. That as well as a Thesaurus. I don't think I own a Thesaurus but that's what the internet is for I guess.

Re: Word Abusers of Tsempir
Both are definitely beautiful conceptions.
Wow! we could start a miniature book club on the forum. We could read short stories, or something of the like. Take polls on what we want to read. Time to take off my productive-workplace-uniform and put on my procrastinate-by-making-new-forum-threads-monocle.
