Yesterday (pretty much today) I moved into guelph. I was super fucking nervous at first. Then I got here. My room is tiny. I share a bathroom with any number of guys and girls from the surrounding area. My roommate is a good guy.


So i got here. Then i went to a big group meeting. Not a nerd in sight. No, all i see are prep douchers talking about drinking and going to the gym. No comp sci students either. Later on i go for a free din. Pretty good, 5/10 would eat again.

came back to res. Finished unpacking. I have a sick setup, but i have no posters or shit so my room feels desolate and soulless. Later i go to prep doucher party with my roommate. Its goddam kife so i deke. I meet up with dusty and alex and go to another one. its super lame and hot so i deke, but i meet a cool guy that now i wish i wouldve talked to more.

Then i went to alex's floor. She shares it with 3 other girls. I meet them.

Then dusty alex and i go on an outdoor excursion around campus at night. Very nice, peaceful. 7.5/10 would do again.

Got back to res. Alex went to her room, dusty and i go to mine. we have apple juice and talk for a bit before realizing our rooms are literally 30 ft away max. We deke shortly after.

I go take poo and get ready for bed. I take biggest poo of my life. About 14 inches long, single log, smooth. 8/10 would do again.

Then as i flush a girl from my tower comes in to brush her teeth. we chat and brush our teeth together. Then i go to bed. NIGHT

Looks like you had the biggest day out of the three of us.

lol we talked about how ewe were both using new toothbrushes, then about how our days went, and how it wasn't what we expected, etc.

we do online mini-quizzes. Theyre like little 4 question quizzes, but you can do them however many times you want before they expire. Ive finished 2/3 with perfect scores so far

alright, heres the scoop on my adventure:

i go to class, i eat, i do homework, i play minecraft and tf2.

I love math, intro to programming (though its super easy), and software design. Philosophy and psychology are a drag.

I got my Calulus midterm back today, I got a 94.29% on it. Very happy with that.

I got my first Introduction to programming test and assignment 1 back. 93.33% on the test, and 90.63% on the assignment. I got a stupid question on the test wrong, and it cost me.

I got my software design quiz back. I got 7/10. Not happy with that. I thought that i got perfect. But whatever. Ill bring the mark up. Currently I stand with a 75 in that course.

No stories about my other classes. I am sure to get my first philosophy paper back soon. Fingers crossed that i did well.

Thats about it. Also i had chicken souvlaki today for dinner. It WASN'T good. gay.

I wouldn't worry about the 70s. I've heard about something called the Freshmen 15; you lose 15 points from your grades as you gain 15 pounds.

Aside from philosophy, you don't actually have to hand in anything, do you? With my courses, the bulk of every course grade is in midterms and exams. Kinda awesome, kinda scary.

Well since im in comp sci and software design, i have alot of projects and stuff. I have 5 papers for philosophy, 1 research paper for psych, 5 programming assignments for Intro to Prog, 2 Software design assignments and thats it. Otherwise i have a bbunch of tests and quizzes and graded labs

oh yeah i did. I suppose someone found a package outside our science complex and the explosives squad had to come and disarm it

So today i picked my courses for second semester. Also i changed my major to software engineering.

So if you changed to engineering, does that mean you had to change your first semester at all?

Wow, you have only 19 hours in a week. My term 2 has 28 hours (and if I had a more balanced schedule and put half of my elective in term 2, that number would be even higher). What makes Western engineering so much longer than others?

lol no its just engineering in general i think. Im not in engineering, im still in the school of computing so i dont have a crazy engineers schedule

Yeah engineers here need like 6 more credits every year than every other faculty lol, shits so dumb
