Ya, so I did it.
I BEAT POKEMON RED. The unthinkable has happened; I have beaten a Pokemon game. Not only that, but the original.
AND....
It was good! I caught all the legendary birds, and Mewtwo. But, I fucking accidentally used my master ball catching Moltres and I didnt even notice. Of course, when I went into the Cerulean cave to use it, I noticed it was gone :/ So I had to catch Mewtwo with a damn Ultra ball. It was hard getting his health down cause he kept recovering, but when I did it only took 2-3 Ultra balls to catch him. I got REALLY lucky.
I was also planning on getting all 150 (since I cant get mew legit) pokemon, but I cant get version exclusive pokemon, so I didnt bother. I did catch all possible wild Pokemon though.

I beat FF Dawn of Souls and I gotta say, it was pretty fun. The NES version is such a hunk of diarrhea.
It makes me hyped to play FFII. Hey tyler, what version of FFII were you playing?

Actually played through the entirety of Mass Effect 2 back in November.
Yeah, Shepard had a bland voice. But here's the thing: I listened to the beginning of a FemShep campaign, and her voice is fantastic. Relatively speaking, of course. Like, it's not completely cringe-inducing to listen to. I oughta give FemShep a go one of these days.
