man i dont really get whats so special. i mean good on the guy, but maybe table tennis is easy relative to other sports, because iidk if you could become a expert playing every day at say hockey or soccer methinks. i mean you would obviously be better than somebody who play infrequently but thats intuitive and shouldnt have really been in question in teh first place. also calling him a expert is weird, kinda feel good click baity. subjective af. I mean i prolly played dota every day (if not, im not missing many) for a year at some point; im still a scrub. idk rob i dont think this is a quality post.

I didn't take away from that video that the dude became an expert in pingpong (WITH ONLY 5 SIMPLE STEPS WOW!!) because obviously like you said that's subjective and for that matter he's definitely not an expert because it said he only aimed to become top 250 in his country.

The use of the work expert is certainly clickbait.

What I liked about the video was being able to see the progression of his skill and his hard work/determination.
Also I liked how the format and editing we're so simple and so committed to a general scheme, it made the scenes where he's doing particular training regimes at a gym or w.e pop and stand out.

You didn't find the video even a little inspirational?


edit: on rewatching I realized that there actually was an attempt to sync the clips with the music. notice how when the singing comes in is when the alternative training shots are first introduced. Don't you think it's sick?
