Re: Diary of a Mac Student
Sept 11th, 2012
I have attended much class as of late, but I wont bore you with the details. All the shit is basically really, really easy right now, and is getting me in the wrong mind set (not doing my homework etc, etc)
On the bright side; A Hamilton smasher got ahold of me today and we met up and all played some melee and project m. He was pretty solid (I took majority of the games, but he said he hadn't played in a while, and it's not like they were easy) plus he goes to mac, so he can join us for crew battles. Also, he and Windrose are going to come back tomorrow for smash also, so I'm pretty excited

St. Marys could prolly put up a solid fight. Vyzor + Mizo + Delfa(on point) + Spam (on point)
Tylers you should round up some western smashers and make a crew lol, we could totally have an Ontario university league, we compete all year until one crew is crowned the best university of smash.

Lol played with WR for the first time ever today. I've always thought that I've never met him, but he tells me that we've met twice haha. He's pretty good though, him and Nick.

Re: Diary of a Mac Student
He lives in Hamilton (but attends school in Toronto), he's good friends with Nick and since we all played Nick yesterday Emilio and I went to his house today and David/Windrose showed up. I played him a bunch in singles and doubles, he was pretty good, but I couldn't really tell, I think he was sandbagging a little bit.
I took the majority of the matches, probably like 7/10, but then again; think he mighta been sandbagging.

Re: Diary of a Mac Student
nick doesn't really go on the boards, he goes by "watermelon" lol. He's pretty good, almost as good as David.
And he just didn't seem in the agro, try-hard mood, he was kind of goofing off, probably just watching my style and stuff.

Re: Diary of a Mac Student
September 14, 2012
So today is the day I am departing from Hamilton, taking city transit by myself for the first time ever, and visiting Cass in St. Catharines.
In the day, I had classes of course. It was raining, and I was getting nervious. The hype was stacking up. As I left my last Comp Sci class of the day and faded into the rain, Ryan (fellow comp sci student) wished me luck. I rushed back to ole bates, home of all smashers and nerds of Mac. Grabbed all my things (which collectively made for quite the hefty backpack, this thing was heavy as shit. Of course, not literally though). Said my goodbyes, and departed for the first bus station.

In the rain I walked, across the street from Mac. Completely alone in a hectic city. I did not know what to think, so I just listened. Put on How I Got Over. Planed to listen to it start to finish on my trip, thought it matched well (you are listening to the first track right now, this is what I heard) I waited at the bus stop for quite some time, looking for good old reliable bus number 5. Eventually it showed, and I left for my journey. There was a really cute school-girl-asian on this bus with asian friends. She was speaking Japanese or Korean or something and it sounded very nice.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvx6XhznaGY
Once 5 arrived at the stop I was fairly sure was mine, I left. Now I was far away from the school. Completely by myself. This was the sketchy part of Hamilton I was in now, the one you always hear about. I always though "Nah people just over exaggerate, I'm sure it's no biggie." - Well it was pretty fucked. I had no idea where to go for my next stop. I checked my make-shift shitty ass homemade map I put together and followed my directions, ended up going through one of those big ass parking lots. Finally found my way to a bus stop. Figured it was the one. Step 2 done.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZelCTsuR5Fo
I had the hand of this now. I felt confident. I was no longer on a Hamilton bus, so I had to pay, but I felt I actually knew where I was going now. This bus was supposed to take me north to Burlington, from there I would catch the Go Bus to St. Catherines. I watched people pile on the bus... and then leave. I stayed and watched them all come and go. The only person who know that bus as well as I did by the end of the trip was the bus driver. When we arrived outside Burlington I heard my stop called. I looked outside.. and we were on a freeway. I had no idea what was going on. I panicked and got out. Completely stranded now. Where the hell am I?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyLzQrors9g
I looked around for a stop. All I could see was a green "GO BUS" sign on the side of a electrical pole. Didn't entirely look reliable. Eventually, down the street (of course, I use 'street' loosely) I found a stop. It was deserted. But it was the best bet I had so I went with it. I wait there with my insanely heavy backpack for nearly 30 minutes, no buses came. No people came. I finally decided to sit down. Without looking. My ass was soaked. I looked around.. nothing else was wet. Not the bench, not anything. Just that one tiny spot where I happened to sit my butt down. I thought "...how is this possible?" Of course I began to think of the worst. I thought it was likely a hobo has came to sit on the bench, pissed themselves (the wet spot looked like it was already in the shape of a butt space) and then left. I then had sat in it. Disgusted, I stood for the rest of the time. Finally, a bus came. I was hyped. It was no go bus though. I waited longer. Eventually... another 30 minutes later (approx.) one showed up.
I entered the go bus. Stopped my music (why there is none playing right now) so I could hear the driver. Payed using my funky presto card. Went to the back of the bus and... there were no seats.. none. This is no city bus neither, the inside is like an airplane. Only the aisle are skinnier. There was no where to stand, nothing to grab. The driver began to drive off and I nearly fell onto some old man. So with no where to stand, and no seats, I put my backpack on the floor and sat on it. This of course reminded me that my ass was soaked, and that everyone probably saw. I was fairly cheesed. So we rode for another 25 minutes or so with me on the floor. Eventually people got off. I finally had a seat and rode another 15sh minutes comfortably.

Finally arrived in St. Catharines. Fuck it, it's late. I'll finish tomorrow.

some fukken stitch faces in Philos today wouldn't shut up during the whole lecture. They were sitting right beside me talking and laughing.. ugh.
And then the one stitch right beside me cracked every mother fucking finger she had. I almost threw up.

I had something similar happen last Friday during design. I was located somewhere different than usual, in the top centre instead of the front left. A low murmur completely surrounded me. Didn't help that the lecturer of the day was quieter than the others.
