    New Ark Studios is Mitch's game company, I'm sure most of you know I've been working with him on his first project for quite a while. It's essentially my second job, and I spend a good amount of time here working on stuff, so I made a place where I can detail some of the problems I encounter and the way I solve them (for when I brain starts to melt from too much programming)

    I'm under a non-disclosure agreement as part of my contract with Mitch, so it's not likely that I'll be showing any assets or level designs, what I had more in mind here was talking about and sketching out coding problems I encounter and documenting my thought process.

    Once I (eventually) get the blog up and running I want to do something like this but for more general programming/math problems, so this can be thought of as my stage for learning to lay things out in such a fashion.

    Well, I planned on writing about the problem which has been occupying the majority of my time for about a month now. However, I decided today that we are going to completely overhaul our physics system.

    Currently, our system is an intertwining of Unity's physics system with some things we've implemented ourselves. I've decided, and the guys are behind me, that we should do everything in accordance with our own math. This will give us much more control over the gameplay and general feel of the game.

    This change was inspired by the current problem, the Spline problem.

    yeah fuq this game you guys will see it eventually anyway.

    only reason i originally wanted to write in this thread was cuz i used to get soaring caffeine highs at mitchs while working and try to do a billion things at once

    Is the game nearing completion or is it in a stagnant state right now?

    What is it about anyways? I'm not sure if you ever mentioned that game's premise or whatever

    and it's coming along. Mechanically it's come a long way. But we still don't really have many assets.
